Retrofit Assessment Services

Domestic Energy Assessment

A Domestic Energy Assessment (DEA) is a survey of your property by one of our qualified assessors, resulting in an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) with a rating from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient).

Every property for sale or rent in the UK is required to have a valid EPC.

A DEA typically takes between 60 and 90 minutes. Our assessor will need access to all parts of your property and will take photos and measurements throughout.

Retrofit Assessment

A Retrofit Assessment is a detailed whole-dwelling survey of your property carried out by one of our qualified Retrofit Assessors. The assessment evaluates your home's fabric, heating, ventilation, and overall condition to identify the most effective energy efficiency improvements for your property.

Retrofit Assessments are required under PAS 2035 before any government-funded energy efficiency measures (such as insulation, heating upgrades, or renewables) can be installed through schemes like ECO4, the Great British Insulation Scheme, or HUG.

A Retrofit Assessment typically takes between 2 - 3 hours at your property. Our assessor will require access to all rooms, the loft space, heating systems, and external areas, and will need to take photographs and measurements throughout.

Funding Advice

We help homeowners and landlords understand what government funding is available to improve the energy efficiency of their property. Schemes such as ECO4, the Great British Insulation Scheme, and HUG can cover some or all of the cost of measures like insulation, heating upgrades, and renewables - but eligibility varies depending on your property, location, and circumstances.

Our team can assess your eligibility, explain your options, and guide you through the application process from start to finish.
